Short on time this summer but with a longing for home-made goodness? Same for Amanda from The Quilted Fish, but she gets the prize (just my praise) for the most creative use of a store-bought quilt. She bought three, a pink, green and blue quilt, then sewed them into sleeping bags for her kids to use in their camper. What a great idea! My mother has a quilt addiction (lol) she finds them on sale for a few dollars and buys 4 or 5 at a time to hive as “gifts”…. We currently have 4 totes full of “gift” quilts she bought more than 5 yrs ago! Now I know what to do with them!
