local foods quiltThis quilt ‘Local Foods Grow Strong Communities’ by Kim Lapacek of Persimon Dreams is her answer to Challenge 5 of Project QUILTING Season 4. It’s lovely. She explains the inspiration and creative process for the quilt here, where reader KrisTMJ commented:

Really this could be an advertisement for the agriculture dept. and the school lunch program…it is so cool! The first lady needs this for her garden/kids program!!!! find a way to get it to her…;)
