Kaffe Fassett's Simple Shapes Spectacular Quilts

Kaffe Fassett and Liza Prior Lucy are the authors/designers of Kaffe Fassett’s Simple Shapes Spectacular Quilts: 23 Original Quilt Designs (STC Craft). Kaffe is an accomplished painter and designer of textiles, is widely acknowledged as a visionary in the use of color. In 1988 he was the first living textile designer to be given a one-person show at the V&A in London, where he lives. He is a fabric designer for Rowan Patchwork and Quilting and the primary knitwear designer for Rowan Yarns. Women’s Weekly (UK) has said: “Kaffe Fassett is one of the most influential living textile artists…His extraordinary passion and insatiable appetite for colour is apparent in whatever medium he uses.” Liza Prior Lucy is an expert quiltmaker and the owner of Glorious Color, a source for fabrics designed by Kaffe Fassett and friends.     I would love to win my first Kaffe quilting book. I’ve adored his sense of colour and design since I started doing his tapestries in the 80’s. Now I’m an addicted quilter! I have many of those great Aussie blogs in my favourites already!
