CG Giveaway: Simplify quilt book

October 29, 2010 by Scarlett Burroughs

We have closed this giveaway, winners announced here. My copy of Simplify: Quilts for the Modern Home came in the mail this week. Author Camille Roskelley extols the virtues of the quilting life but keeps it simple for modern lives. Underpinning her home-beautiful through patchwork mantra is the frequent use of fabric pre-cuts as design roadmaps. It’s a great book, especially for anyone hesitant to start quilting.

I’m giving away  a copy of Simplify. Leave a comment by Nov 12, 2010 to get a chance to win!

Editor’s Note: International entries allowed. I’m enjoying all your comments!

I want to start quilting but feel a bit hesitant because of the complexity of it. I thought I’d begin with a small lap quilt. My daughter has a beautiful quilt a friend made for her and I thought how neat it would be for me to try and make one. This book might be the inspiration I need to get started! Thanks.
