Today we have a video for a fast and easy quilt for you. A great beginner quilt pattern using fat quarters. So easy you can make a quilt in a day. Just shop from your stash in the morning, make it after lunch afternoon, and quilt it tonight. Such a great way to use up your fabric scraps and orphan blocks too.

Book Review – Quilts in Italy
While I’m captivated by the allure of “Kaffe Fassett’s Quilts in Italy,” and its promise of 20 stunning designs inspired by the picturesque Cinque Terre, I’ve resolved to exercise some restraint in my book-buying habits next year. As much as I’m drawn to the richly colored villages and jewel-like glimpses of the Mediterranean that serve as Kaffe’s muse, I recognize the need to curb my enthusiasm for new additions to my quilt book collection. SO for this book review, full disclosure: I have not purchased it.
With its classic and new fabrics from the Kaffe Fassett Fabric Collection, this book offers a tempting array of designs, from the traditional elegance of the Lacy Log Cabin to the bold and contrasting colors of Scaffold. The almost dizzying complexity of Chiaroscuro promises to be a captivating challenge for any quilting enthusiast.
I’m determined to exercise self-control and prioritize the quilting books I already own. While “Kaffe Fassett’s Quilts in Italy” may beckon with its promise of creative inspiration, I’m committed to making thoughtful choices about my book purchases in the coming year. After all, a little restraint now will only enhance the joy of discovering new quilting treasures in the future. Stay tuned for MORE book review in 2025

The video was half-obscured by a Google ad, and there was no way to remove it! I try not to use ad-blockers on sites like yours, because I want you to get the revenue. But this was really irritating.

Sorry about that Dot. We have changed the template of the page. Could you try now?

That’s much better, but the lower right corner of the video is still covered by an ad. (Over the full-screen symbol.) At least the “watch on YouTube” part is now available. This is happening on my iPad. I moved to my computer, and it doesn’t happen there. With the ad blocker turned off on the computer, I can see the entire video. Thanks for your response.
