Quilters specialize in smallish pieces of fabric, so harvesting a bit to make a set of bookends requires a short trip to the stash. Maker, Mandy Pellegrin, did a guest post at Design Sponge showing how she made them. Of her project, she says,
A little fabric, some beginner-level sewing, and a kitchen staple make for a set of bookends that are both unique and sculptural.
This project has been out awhile, but bears repeating, especially as the holidays are in view. Quick and easy to sew, makes these bookends a great gift idea.
