These hot pads are so cute they deserve a spot on mine and your to-do-list. To make them, Crafty Staci started with assorted cotton prints, quilt batting and Insul-Bright. Cutting each into a mug shape, she then stacked and sewed them together. She shares on her blog step-by-step instructions along with a downloadble mug pattern so we can make our own. Yes!

I recently treated myself to “The Christmas Quilt / The New Year’s Quilt” by Jennifer Chiaverini for the upcoming holiday season. As a fan of the Elm Creek Quilts series, I couldn’t resist diving into this heartwarming tale of Christmas traditions and family legacies.

As I eagerly await immersing myself in this delightful narrative, I’m already captivated by the promise of cherished memories, family bonds, and the timeless traditions that have endured through the years. I would like the dimensions of the cup and background scale. The pattern for the cup does not give the size and I am not sure my print copy will be the correct size.
