Some Mondays feel a little more “Monday” than others — the laundry pile is high, the inbox is full, and your sewing machine is calling your name louder than usual. So the next time Monday feels a little too… Monday-ish… let fabric lift your spirits.

I finished a quilt I cut out at least two years ago. I have vowed never to cut and run again. I should have labeled these parts! There were so many parts to this quilt. It took me serious study to figure out which pieces went to which parts of the quilt before I could start sewing. It would have helped so much if I had put the different block parts in bags together such as: the flower block pieces together in one ziplock baggie, the heart block pieces in their own baggie, etc. I had to re-measure all the pieces in order to figure out what they were because I was so busy with the next quilt. I have learned from my error! Quoth the raven, Nevermore!
