How to Make a Round Christmas Mug Rug

July 5, by Claudia Porter. Leave a Comment

Festive and fun, this adorable round mug rug from My Retired Life on the Prairie is a must-make for the holidays.  Just look at how pretty it is.  It even has pockets for those Christmas treats.

The tutorial takes you through all of the steps needed to make one of these mug rugs.  There are also detailed instructions included. For ease of construction, the author recommends a particular circular template which you may or may not have.  It is not a requirement.

When you have an afternoon, make up a batch of these and give them as Christmas gifts.  People will absolutely fall in love with them!  If you sell at craft fairs, then this is a great holiday item to include.
