From a recent stop at Quiltmaker Quilty Pleasures, I noticed the magazine has published 14 free quilt patterns for Project Linus since the year 2000. The organization gives handmade quilts and blankets to children who need comfort. The quilt shown is Up, Up, and Away by Diane Harris. My personal favorite is Happy Cats, from 2005.
