Event: Quilters Take Manhattan | Goody bag for virtual ticket holders

The *Quilt Alliance’s fall fundraising event is coming up September 15, 2012. Held in Manhattan at the Fashion Institute of Technology, special attendees include Denyse Schmidt, Jennifer Chiaverini and Mark Lipinski. There are 350 spots for people to attend in person, but if you cannot be one of those fortunate few, you can still participate with what they call a “Home Ticket”. They explain,

For $25 you’ll receive first access to event video footage online, a packed event goody bag with samples and treats from all of our sponsors, a chance to win select door prizes and the chance to buy a signed copy of Denyse Schmidt’s new book and have it shipped to your home. And you’ll be playing an important role in supporting the work of the Alliance.
