Chevron block and a tip for sewing HSTs

February 7, 2013 by Scarlett Burroughs

Chevron Block Anorina

Anorina of Samelia’s Mum used pretty pinks and golds in this chevron block she just finished up. It’s the January mystery block pattern from Riley Blake’s 2013 BOM event. She shares on her blog a way to quickly sew up the half square triangles (HSTs) that make up the block. Go HERE to learn more.

Any type of tutorial is always a winner in my book! I have made a ton of half square triangles just in the past year and have read all sorts of various tutorials on how quilters prefer to do them. There is no right or wrong way and that is one of the fantastic advantages of quilt making. Thank you for sharing this link to another great tutorial. Have a wonderful creative day!
