A good year for UFO quilt blocks

Becky of Patchwork Posse is hosting a 52 Quilt Block Pick Up event on her blog that will be an ongoing series for 2013. In her announcement post she explains,

For the year of 2013– I will share every Friday a new and happy way to use your UFO Quilt Blocks. There will be UFO Quilt Block project tutorials, ideas, inspiration boards, link lists…whatever it takes to get you to dig out those UFO Quilt blocks and put them to use! Don’t be afraid of what they are…be excited about what they will become!

Nice, because a lot of work goes into any quilt block, even those we discard in our projects. Am I right?

This is lovely! Today is the first Friday and she has already posted the first tutorial in the series, where she transformed a UFO into a signature mini quilt. Get the tutorial.
