Penny of Sew Take A Hike made this quilt for her mom as a gift for Mother’s Day. Now that’s one lucky mama! She used fabric from the Brrr! line by Laurie Wisbrun for Robert Kaufman.
I found this photo of some Brrr! at Yellow Plum Blossoms and promptly pinned it to my Fabric I Want to Marry board on Pinterest. Fellow fabric lovers, this awesome fabric line is due in stores this June. Yay!

I recently treated myself to “The Christmas Quilt / The New Year’s Quilt” by Jennifer Chiaverini for the upcoming holiday season. As a fan of the Elm Creek Quilts series, I couldn’t resist diving into this heartwarming tale of Christmas traditions and family legacies.
