Ever wondered how to cut up a cotton shirt to get the most useable fabric from it? Wonder no more. Alix from Mamaka Mills shows how in a tutorial she just posted on her blog. Once she breaks down a shirt, she uses the pieces for quilting. But of her technique she says,

This tutorial could apply to any sort of sewing craft, not just quilting but you know, I’m all into the quilting!
