Oh how I know this all too well. I was using a Piece Goods Fabric Store cutting mat when i made 12 pair of Irish lace sheers for a client. Little did I know the stupid mat was not laid out straight. The headache I had in fixing 24 lace hems that were 1″ shorter on one side!
