Quilters TV

I’m happy-dancing in my chair right now. I just discovered Quilters TV, “Where the Quilting Stars Shine.” This network is not available through my cable provider, but that doesn’t matter now. I can watch full-length quilting shows on my computer screen!

November 19, 2008 | 1 Comment
konnykards, along with her friends Anne-Marie and Betsy, are starting a new flickr group that focuses on blackwork embroidery. She says,
We were unable to find a group for Blackwork so decided to start one although it seems it may be a minority interest group. Anyone interested is invited to join - no need to actually do Blackwork - just enjoy.
See konnykard’s post with the links.

Don’t forget the label
November 19, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Labeling a quilt is an important ritual. It symbolizes the completion of the project, and it documents the quilt for the user and future generations. Fiber Fantasies blog has some great information and advice about creating inked quilt labels that beautifully represent your work while surviving use and laundering. See the post.
