We have closed this giveaway, winners announced here. My copy of Simplify: Quilts for the Modern Home came in the mail this week. Author Camille Roskelley extols the virtues of the quilting life but keeps it simple for modern lives. Underpinning her home-beautiful through patchwork mantra is the frequent use of fabric pre-cuts as design roadmaps. It’s a great book, especially for anyone hesitant to start quilting.
I’m giving away a copy of Simplify. Leave a comment by Nov 12, 2010 to get a chance to win!
Editor’s Note: International entries allowed. I’m enjoying all your comments!

it was my new year resolution for 2010 to learn quilting…Everything came on my favour and i joined a handquilting class…enjoyed every bit of it. I finished my first hand quilted table runner. I tried to learn machine quilting my self and made 2 wall hanging…Now i would love to learn crazy quilting and the real machine quilting.
Thank you so much for this giveaway
I’d love to win a copy of this book! I guess I’d be an intermediate beginner…lol. I’ve made a few lap quilts/wall hangings, but always choose fairly easy patterns. Time for me to spread my wings a bit and try something a bit more difficult.
I would love to win! I have been quilting for almost a year!
Looks like a wonderful book! I have quilted since I was young but stopped for the last couple years and am catching up on all the new techniques!
I would love to learn how to quilt!
My fondest memory as a child is when I used to sit next to my grandmother at the sewing machine. One day I asked her why she always used different colors and patterns of material when she made her quilts, and she simply answered by saying that each quilt is special in its own little way. She went on to tell me that she never decided which member of the family she was giving it to until it was finished, because you never know the personality of the quilt until it tells you (by looking at it) just who it is best suited for. I would love to learn to quilt so someday I might be lucky enough to start a tradition with a grand daughter of my own someday! I hope you pick me to win,I am anxious to learn. Thank you.
Karrie
