In this episode, Jenny, Misty, and Natalie demonstrate three new Dashing Star designs created by the talented Doan women.

Once a month, Jenny, Misty, and Natalie each demonstrate a special twist on a block, technique, or template. In this episode, they show off three brand-new Dashing Star designs.

Natalie channels her inner star when she creates her scattered shoofly stars, which feature big lemons stars and decorative shoofly sashing. Daisy Fields 10″ Stackers by Beverly McCullough of Flamingo Toes for Riley Blake fabrics make her fabric.

Misty creates a star of two sizes using the simple 16 method for producing quick half-square triangles. She produces dozens of tiny stars using the 16 technique for producing fast half-square triangles. Her fabric is Country Rose Layer Cake by Lella Boutique for Moda Fabrics. Jenny’s scrabble-dashing stars dazzle with intricate piecing, but they’re all made with simple, fast strip sets.

Her fabric is Buttercup and Slate Jelly Roll by Corey Yoder for Moda Fabrics. She makes her intricate piecing with quick and simple strip sets.
