Using Quilts in Therapy

Quilting is not just to make something pretty for a bed.  Did you know that quilting and quilts can also be used in therapy?  This article from NextAvenue details how quilts are incorporated into various forms.

From mental health to physical health, this article outlines four different areas of healthcare and well being that quilts and quilting are used.

Who knew?!  However, when I think about it, I have made quilts for all sorts of purposes.  Maybe you have too.

Nature’s Patchwork Table Runner Set

Whether you want to match your kitchen colours or make a new one for every season, this great table runner and hot pads are sure to please!

Regardless of whether you desire to coordinate or not, you can use your favourite Jelly Roll! When finished, the table runner measures 60 1/2″x24 1/2″ while the hot pads are 12 1/2″x12 1/2″. It was created and quilted by Carolyn S. Vagts.
