The hearts in this quilt show off to perfection The Strawberry Thief fabric collection. The blog by the same name shares detailed instructions on how to make the blocks. The heart shape is pieced, not appliqued, and I have to say, it’s a straightforward easy-to-construct method. All that to say, don’t shy away if you’re a beginner.
Also, they do offer a kit that would include only Strawberry Thief fabrics. And as a Liberty of London lover, particularly this collection, this is a marvelous idea, if you can afford it. If not, no worries. Make a dive into your private fabric collection or buy similar fabrics – those that create the same feel or tone. Either way, you will have a quilt you can use all year round, not just in February.

Hello Scarlett! This was a fun tutorial. Yet, what really caught my attention was the fabrics. So, I went and looked around and fell in love with a lot of their fabrics! It, however, was a very short affair. I discovered that the prices were just to much out of my price range. Thank you though for a great morning adventure and such a way to wake up with all those beautiful fabrics. Have a great day!
