Trip to Quilt Explorer

Recently, a friend took a business trip to Omaha, Nebraska U.S.A. and I told her whatever she did, she must drive to Lincoln to see the International Quilt Study Center and Museum.

She didn’t make it there, however I cannot wait to tell her about their online presence. I just stumbled across Quilt Explorer – one of their destinations off their main page. It’s wonderful.

You will need to Register to reap the full benefits. Afterwards you can create your own collection of favorite quilts. Here’s one of mine.

So be sure and take an online trip to Quilt Explorer. By the way, Quilt Explorer has been nominated for Best Cultural Institution site in the 13th Annual Webby Awards. Voting goes through the end of April. They have my vote.
