Contests can really get your creative side motivated to try new things and the chance to win something. Quilt Quest 2008 is now gearing up to receive your quilt block, handbag, or miniature. There is a $10.00 entry fee which isn’t too bad a price and the contest is being organized by Margrit Hall , who is the Quilting Events and Special Projects Director and the Ask Margrit columnist for Robert Kaufman Fabrics.

Think outside the block entry form and Anything Goes Handbag and Miniatures for more details of prizes and rules. Prizes for the winners, which includes honorable mentions, includes cash (my favorite prize), Robert Kaufman Fabrics, quilt rulers, and First place wins a brand new Janome Jem Portable Sewing & Quilting Machine, $250 , 50 yards of fabric….I’m not making this up click on the links.

Remember to read the ENTIRE entry form carefully, make sure you have met everything required, and take a picture for yourself before sending. Now we just all have to find some spare time to enter. Please let me know if you will be giving this one a try, would love to hear from you.
