Linn of The Home Project shows off a potholder she just made from scraps she kept from her first quilt. Nicely done. She explains,
For the batting I used thermal batting and I used two layers, because is there anything worse than burning through your pot holder? One layer will definitely get you burnt, unless the pot isn’t very hot. Two layers is great from a thickness point of view, however I’m really thinking more is more here, so maybe next time I’ll even do three?
If you make quilted potholders, how many layers of thermal batting do you use? Please leave a comment and let everyone know.
