Stunning Star Quilted Bag Tutorial – Free Pattern

June 10, by Claudia Porter. Leave a Comment

Quilting is not all about making quilts that can be hung on the wall or used on a bed.  There are all sorts of beautiful things you can make with quilted fabric.  That includes things like this stunning tote bag featuring fabrics from Mister Domestic’s Snow Day collection from Art Gallery Fabrics.

While not specifically listed, this pattern would be suitable for someone with more advanced sewing skills.  There are a lot of steps to it.  The lone star design gives the bag a classic look while the offset placement makes it look a bit more modern.

The free downloadable pattern gives detailed step by step instructions to make the bag.  No special accessories are needed.

If you are interested in taking your quilting and sewing skills to a different level, try this great tote bag.  You can find the free pattern here: Frost Tote Bag Pattern
