Charitable sewing by students is a wonderful quilt project that benefits many in the Reno area.
From the Reno Gazette Journal:
Galena High School junior Christi Mannos, 16, leads a group called Comfort Quilts, which makes quilts and delivers them to patients at hospitals and care centers.
“We try and get 20 every quarter,” Mannos said. “Hopefully, this year, I’ll get more people involved.”
