Standing Bunny Quilt Block Pattern

March 7, by Claudia Porter. Leave a Comment

Bunny cuteness overload alert!  Perfect for your next Easter quilt, this bunny quilt block pattern is easy to put together with the tutorial from The Objects of Design.

To make this guy you will need four different fabrics.  The cuts are not huge so this is an ideal scrap busting quilt block.  The designer has complete instructions with step by step photos included.  I find that those photos help me when I am trying out a new pattern from someone.

There are couple of things that really caught my eye with this block.  First is that his one ear is flopping over.  That just makes me smile.  The other is that he is standing.  I’m not sure that I have ever seen that design in a quilt.  It adds some whimsy to this fun and festive block.

You could make a whole wall quilt of these rabbits.  What fun that would be.
