Scrap Fabric Patchwork Christmas Tree Tutorial

December 19, by Claudia Porter. Leave a Comment

Calling all quilters and crafters who have loads of scrap fabrics from previous projects!  Here is an easy and festive design for you.  These pretty patchwork Christmas tree plushies from Teresa Down Under are about as easy as they can be.

The detailed tutorial has everything you need to know to make these.  You will find a list of the supplies that you will need, including the downloadable template for the cone shape.  There is even a video tutorial.  Along with the standard sewing and quilting supplies, you will need some fusible interfacing and poly fill for your trees.

Depending on your printer settings, your tree(s) can be tailored to many different sizes.  Make a whole forest of patchwork trees to add to your décor.

I have said it before, but I am always looking for new patterns to use up my scrap fabrics.  They seem to multiply faster than I can use them up.  With this tutorial, I have definitely found a fun way to make a dent in them.
