Saint Patrick’s Day Mini Quilt Pattern

March 10, 2022 by Claudia Porter

It’s time for a fun mini quilt for Saint Patrick’s Day.  This easy and free pattern can be found over on Fort Worth Fabric Studio and it’s a great stash-buster for all of those green fabrics you have.

The tutorial has a list of all of the supplies and fabric you will need.  Also included are step-by-step cutting and piecing instructions and photos.

I don’t know about you, but I find that photos are extremely helpful when I am trying to make a quilt pattern.

This could easily be turned into a wall quilt or even a table topper.

Raid your green fabrics and get ready to quilt up this cute little pattern.

Monday Quilting Fabric Deals for the Win!

Some Mondays feel a little more “Monday” than others — the laundry pile is high, the inbox is full, and your sewing machine is calling your name louder than usual. That’s when a quick scroll through Fat Quarter Shop’s Precut of the Week is the perfect pick-me-up. It’s affordable, fun, and full of possibilities.

Every Monday brings a new deal, and half the excitement is seeing what pops up. Maybe it’s a jelly roll from a fabric line you’ve adored from afar. Maybe it’s a charm pack that would be perfect for a quick weekend project. Or maybe it’s the fat quarter bundle you swore you’d buy “someday.”

For more ways to use these deals creatively, here are some great internal reads:

If you love sewing for others — birthdays, babies, holidays, charity events — precuts make the process so much easier. They speed up cutting, offer built-in color harmony, and give you more time to enjoy the actual sewing part.

This internal article is a great place to spark ideas for fast projects:

So the next time Monday feels a little too… Monday-ish… let fabric lift your spirits.
