Emily at Mommy’s Nap Time is a strong supporter of her niece (age 5). She made her a pretty quilt (shown in photo). She just shaved off all her hair (for a second time), and now she’s getting the word out about a fundraiser for cancer research to her friends in the blogosphere. She explains,
Since we all know that crafter(s) have to eat too (and on a good day we might be too busy crafting to cook) I’d like to encourage everyone to eat out at Chili’s on monday!
In celebration of September being Childhood Cancer Awareness month Chili’s restaurants nationwide will be donating all profits made on Sept 26th to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This is one of the largest Childhood Cancer specific fundraisers. All you have to do is go eat some delicious food from Chili’s on Monday!
I’m writing this request because my niece Rosemarie (age 5) has been fighting cancer for four years. On the average, 36 children and adolescents are diagnosed with cancer everyday in the United States…. No child should have Cancer.
