I like finding quilts where you least expect them, like the one I spied in a current issue of ELLE Decor magazine. On their “Style Sheet” page the author shows readers a modern-looking quilt and explains they are part of a collection of limited edition quilts created by Jessica Ogden for A.P.C., a French clothing company. She gives kudos to A.P.C. for making quilts into “contemporary objects of desire”.
Go to A.P.C. Quilts to see the collection of quilts and numerous patchwork pillows. Scroll down the page to view a video that shows the process of how the quilts are made, from start to finish. Incidentally, all are pieced by machine and hand quilted by factory workers in Bangladesh.
