Kathleen Loomis of Art With a Needle has one of her art quilts, “Crazy 8: Incarceration”, showing at Quilts 20/20: Traditional Works, Contemporary Art. The exhibit is in the main gallery of Susquehanna Art Museum, Harrisburg PA, USA. Though the venue is too far away for her to attend, she hopes some of her readers will make it. I’m helping her get the word out in case any Craft Gossip readers live close by or will be traveling there this summer. From the press release:
The show opens June 19 and runs through Aug. 30, 2015. It features 20 historic quilts and 20 modern day quilts. Organized by SAM, along with guest curator Pat Pauly, the exhibition examines the historic groundwork for today’s works in fiber art while introducing a rich selection of new art quilts for our visitors.
