Cherri from Cherry House Quilts has a personal connection to the recent events at Fort Hood, Texas USA. Her son is stationed there and thankfully was not harmed. Most of us would stop there, but not Cherri. She is calling for quilters to donate quilts to the 31 wounded. So far she has commitments for 15. For anyone interested in making one (she suggests lap size) she is providing for free download, her Patriotic Pizazz pattern, shown here. Go here to learn more.
