Newsy: Epic Sampler BOM starts soon

Come October, Elizabeth (Don’t Call me Betsy) kicks off her third BOM event, calling it the “Epic Sampler”. There are two types of Block of the Months. In one, the host provides fabric along with the pattern; in the other, the host provides the pattern only. Both have their advantages, though I like the freedom of choosing my own fabrics. With the “Epic Sampler” you get to choose.

Samplers are made up of unique blocks sewn together to make a top. In Betsy’s mock-up, shown here, notice how her color choices make the design work as a whole. So, samplers provide variety to ward off boredom, doing it alongside other quilters makes it fun. Don’t miss this one.
