Thanks goes to Grace Bonney at Design Sponge for pointing me to Beldi where I found this Boucherouite, already sold. I swear I’m looking at patchwork. It’s not, it’s a rag rug. The product description on their website says,
“Boucherouite” translates in Moroccan to something close to “king of the leftovers.” These energetic and eclectic free form rag rugs hand-woven by tribal Berber women from discarded scraps and recycled fabric and materials combine abstract art with ingenuity and resourcefulness.
