Brilliant, is what I call the person who figured out that adding weights to a blanket turns it into a calming agent. This is a child-size weighted lap pad, made by Polly Carlson, of Pieces by Polly. For the front, she chose an all over print, spot on choice for her daughter, the recipient. But wait, I’m the Quilting Editor, so I’m obliged to say a pieced front works too.
