Jamie Swanson created this stunning quilt, Luminary. I’ve seen several versions of the pattern made up in my romps through the blogosphere. One maker added an applique to the half-star base so the motif looks like a peacock. Another, Mr. Domestic, shares his make to include links to where he purchased his Indah Batiks.
This pattern is not free, but if you have ever tried improv and failed to create something you like, this might be a good buy.
