Over the Halloween weekend I house-sat for my sister who was out-of-town for a retreat. It’s a two-story Victorian and due to its large size, it’s where we have most of our family events. Painted in bright cheery colors, it’s a happy house but when I walked up the steps to enter Friday evening there was nary a light on anywhere and I had a thought, “This would make a good haunted house.”
I spent a leisurely weekend on the couch mostly with a remote in hand and, in the spirit of Halloween, watched some of the cable shows about haunted houses. I got myself so worked up – scared even – I switched over to reruns of I Love Lucy. That did the trick!
Now you can understand why I smiled when I spied Lucy’s Escapades – Luau Blue at Fabric.com. See more of this fabric line HERE.

i love this! Once 7 years ago i dyed my hair… it turned out SO red! The character who played Lucy at Paramount studios stalked me, lol! We also lived in hawaii for so many years i will have to look for this for something fun, maybe an apron. Thanks for sharing
