Kennel quilts offer comfort after disasters

The Quilt Pattern Magazine (TQPM) Small Kennel Quilt Team is a volunteer organization with a mission to help dogs and cats after a disaster. Think of how many small animals lost their homes after hurricanes Sandy and Katrina. That this group exists lifts my spirits, as it reminds me of the good that is in the world.

With a finished size no larger than 12″ x 18″, most quilters could easily make one or two of these small quilts from scraps. As part of their efforts, TQPM offer two free quilt patterns “Bow Wow” and “Go Fish!” both created by Cindy McCoy.
