Warm memories of elementary school lunches gave Chase, of 1/4″ mark, the idea of making a modern version of the kin-cha-ku bag. Her mom used these to wrap the metal boxes that contained her noonday meal. She explains that traditionally these serviceable bags are made from a single layer of fabric.
