It covers everything you need to know by taking you through all of the steps to make the star block pictured.  To make this 6″ block you will need some basic quilting supplies along with the pattern which she has a link to.  You will also need an acid free glue stick and some other tools.  She provides a complete list for you.

The nice thing about this tutorial is it has step by step photos for everything.  That way the reader can refer back to any photos.  That is super helpful when just starting out.
