How to Make a Flying Geese Mini Quilt

April 26, by Claudia Porter. Leave a Comment

A favorite block of many quilters, Flying Geese gives a quilt plenty of movement and interest.  This free mini quilt pattern from Fort Worth Fabric Studio is no exception.

With flying geese of various sizes, the design is quite eye-catching.  The easy-to-follow tutorial has plenty of photos and instructions to show you how to measure and cut your fabric to make the various flying geese.  That is a big help because sometimes they are not so easy to make.

The reader also gets a sneak peak at how the designer quilted her piece.  That is always fun to see.

If you are looking to make a mini quilt, then this pattern may be for you.  You can find it here: Flying Geese Mini Quilt
