I discovered Marcia Derse fabrics today, thanks to a blog post NYC MOD Meeting written by Victoria of Bumble Beans. Grab a cuppa and visit Marcia Derse Fiber; you will want to stay awhile.

Marcia introduces each of her hand-dyed/printed fabric collections with a photo where elements of the image are made up of fabric from that particular line. I’ve seen this advertising technique used at Volksfaden; it’s brilliant. But back to where I’m going with this post – quilting. I followed a link from Marcia Derse Fiber’s Using Marcia Derse Fabrics category to the quilt shown here. It’s Brix by Amy Walsh of Blue Underground Studios. Isn’t it gorgeous?
