I’m fairly new to EPP, having started about 2 years ago. I fell in love with it from the very first hexagon. There’s a zen to the process, a rhythm, a progression. My hands are busy with easily completed needlework and my mind can either vegetate or ponder. 🙂
I love EPP because it’s such a wonderfully portable craft. I stitch in the car on road trips, in the waiting room for appointments, at Little League games, guild meetings, family functions, vacations. At then end of all those down times, I have something concrete to show for the time spent.
Eventually, a wonderful quilt .. or whatever .. will be created. A legacy from me.

About a year ago I asked about EPP at a local fabric shop, as I had never attempted it. The owner told me EPP was either something I would love or hate and that I’d know right away. Well, I love it. I’m only doing hexagons right now but I have so much fun with it. I would love to win this book so I could move beyond hexagons and try something new. Looks fun!
