Peeking out of his den today, Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow—so fingers crossed for an early Spring! ? Honestly, it’s already been unseasonably warm here in my corner of the U.S., but I’m still holding onto hope that the groundhog’s forecast sticks.
In the meantime, I took a little creative detour with this sweet Groundhog Day coloring page—and turned it into a charming hand-stitched embroidery pattern for my kitchen. That curious little face peeking over the rock was just too cute not to stitch!
If you’re looking for a calm, crafty way to spend your afternoon (with or without shadow sightings), grab your floss and fabric and give this a go. Or just print the page for a bit of old-school coloring fun. Either way, it’s a cozy little ode to the seasons shifting.
