Fall is the best time to visit apple orchards because you get to see ripened apples turned into cider. At least that’s the reality at Yates Cider Mill, in Michigan USA. My daughter and her siblings visited such a place one year, and she still talks about how good the cider tasted. Not close to an apple orchard? No worries, this quilt, “Bushel of Apples”, can take you, in your mind at least, to a bountiful pomme harvest.
Designed by Elea Lutz to showcase her fabric line Apple Farm, notice how she combines patchwork blocks with applique blocks. Simply charming!
