Edna at Needling Things shares on her blog how her granddaughter Leah approached her this past summer with an interest in learning to quilt. With Edna’s help Leah created her very first quilt. See left, the quilt in progress, just a top without the red border to come. Edna took lots of photos of the process – from the beginning squares all the way to the machine quilting. It now only lacks a binding to call it done. I dig Leah’s color choices and how she put her crazy blocks on point. It’s an amazing first quilt. Great job Leah! Click here to read the entire post.
