Remona of The Stitching Scientist thinks summer quilting projects should be quick and easy to leave plenty of time for outdoor activities. I agree. With that in mind, she made this fun quilt out of a Jelly Roll (precut fabrics) and Charm Pack from the Little Apples fabric collection by Aneela Hoey. See her instructions for how to make your own Summer Picnic Quilt.

Good Evening Scarlett! Not to sure I like the new layout for the Craft Gossip Newsletter, they do not put out as many subjects and they also do not let us know where the information is coming from. I did check out this neat quilt and really like the length and the scrappiness of it; making it a perfect picnic quilt. So thank you for bringing it to our attention. I will surely be making this when I can! Have a fantastic creative day!
