November 3, 2011 by Scarlett Burroughs

Kim from retro mama shows how to make these adorable fabric house ornaments. She said she used quilting cotton scraps for the parts of the house. The numbers are from the fabric selvages. So clever! Go to tutorial.

Celebrate National Sewing Month With AccuQuilt’s September Offers

September is National Sewing Month, and AccuQuilt is celebrating with special pricing on fabric cutters, embroidery downloads and GO! dies throughout the month.

If accurate cutting is the part of quilting that slows you down, this is a good time to look at the GO! system. AccuQuilt cutters use shaped dies to cut multiple fabric pieces accurately, taking much of the measuring, ruler wrangling and repetitive rotary cutting out of quilt preparation.

You can shop the current AccuQuilt offers here.

GO! Me Fabric Cutter for $99.99

The compact GO! Me Fabric Cutter is on sale for $99.99 through September 30, 2026.

This is the entry-level option I would recommend for someone curious about die-cut quilting but not ready to invest in one of the larger electric machines. It is portable, manually operated and particularly useful for smaller quilt blocks, appliqué shapes and projects made with scraps.

If you want an honest look at how a compact AccuQuilt cutter performs, read our original AccuQuilt GO! Baby fabric cutter review. The models have changed over the years, but the biggest benefits remain speed, consistency and less repetitive hand cutting.

GO! Bolt With a Free Die Catcher for $399.99

The GO! Bolt Electric Fabric Cutter is on sale for $399.99 and includes a free Die Catcher for a limited time.

The GO! Bolt is a fully automatic portable cutter that can cut up to six layers of quilting cotton when used with compatible piecing dies. This makes it a practical option for quilters who make repeated blocks, prepare kits or find manual cutting uncomfortable.

The included Die Catcher supports the die as it comes through the cutter, so you do not need to hover at the other end trying to catch it before it makes an undignified escape onto the floor.

Buy One GO! Die and Get the Second 50% Off

Through September 30, you can buy one qualifying in-stock GO! die and receive a second eligible die for 50% off with code SEPBOGO.

The discount is applied to the lowest-priced eligible item in each qualifying pair.

Before ordering, check which dies are compatible with your cutter and whether the required cutting mat is included. It is also worth choosing dies you will use across several projects rather than buying an extremely specific shape simply because it is discounted. We crafters have all been seduced by a tool that later spends three years sitting very neatly in its original packaging.

If you already own a cutter and need inspiration, these six free table topper patterns using AccuQuilt dies are manageable projects that do not require committing to another full-sized quilt.

New GO! Double Star 10-Inch Finished Die

The newly released GO! Double Star 10-Inch Finished Die creates a star-within-a-star quilt block without Y-seams.

It is a Block on Board die, often shortened to BOB, meaning all the shapes needed for the complete block are arranged on a single die board. It can cut the pieces for one three-colour 10-inch finished block in one pass through a compatible cutter.

Star blocks are beautiful, but all those points can expose even tiny cutting errors. Having the matching pieces cut consistently makes it much easier to concentrate on accurate piecing and pressing.

If you are new to this type of die, our AccuQuilt GO! BOB Collector’s Edition review explains why quilters enjoy the speed and accuracy of Block on Board designs.

Save 15% on Embroidery Downloads

AccuQuilt embroidery downloads are also 15% off throughout National Sewing Month.

These downloads are useful for quilters who combine machine embroidery with appliqué. Make sure the design format is compatible with your embroidery machine and that you own the matching AccuQuilt die where required.

Which AccuQuilt Offer Is Best?

For someone new to fabric die cutting, the GO! Me sale is the most affordable starting point.

For a regular quilter who wants an electric cutter, the GO! Bolt bundle offers the strongest upgrade opportunity. Existing AccuQuilt owners may get more value from the BOGO die promotion, especially if two versatile block or appliqué dies are already sitting on the wish list.

All these offers are active through September 30, 2026, although products may sell out before the promotion ends.
