It’s all boy! That’s right, Rikka from Ricochet and Away made her second quilt ever (the first was for her little girl age 4) with a mandate from the recipient (her 7 yr old son). It could not be babyish, he is after all the big brother. She says this quilt hit the mark. And what’s not to love, check out those ragged (no pun intended) edges. And her Chevron design rocks. I recently treated myself to “The Christmas Quilt / The New Year’s Quilt” by Jennifer Chiaverini for the upcoming holiday season. As a fan of the Elm Creek Quilts series, I couldn’t resist diving into this heartwarming tale of Christmas traditions and family legacies.

As I eagerly await immersing myself in this delightful narrative, I’m already captivated by the promise of cherished memories, family bonds, and the timeless traditions that have endured through the years.
